Queen Elizabeth Rose is an exquisite grandiflora that was the big reason I chose to build some raised beds in my garden. Arizona soil is inhospitable but the raised bed allows me to modify the soil enough to give my larger roses a chance to reach their potential.
I love the light pink flowers at the end of the long stem clusters that bloom in flushes throughout the season. It certainly needs to be tucked back near the back corner of the garden because of its size. Queen Elizabeth is one of the largest plants in my garden.
