I have always maintained that this English-style rose is kept in my garden because it reminds me of my oldest granddaughter. Today, she graduates from Arizona State University. She’s done well in completing her degree in four years, and I’m looking forward to seeing her take her next step in the world of “adulting”. The job market isn’t what it was for me, or her father, but I am sure she will do well.
I love how this rose has grown in my garden. It boasts stunning, medium-sized pink blossoms that create a lush and abundant seasonal display. The rose blooms appear in small clusters and remind me of bouquets in the hands of a young girl being photographed before the school prom.
I will miss the little girl I knew, but I am thrilled to see her reaching for her dreams.
